Itinerary

01 Day

Arrival in Sri Lanka.

You will be welcomed by the airport representatives. Thereafter, you will be escorted to the vehicle and your travel host will be introduced, who will be guiding you throughout the journey in Sri Lanka.

You will head towards the selected hotel.

02 Day

After breakfast, you will travel to the first capital of Sri Lanka, Anuradhapuraya; a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the north central part of the island.

Anuradhapuraya was the capital from the 5th century BC until the 9th century AD. It was the centre of the island's Buddhist civilization and undoubtedly the grandest city of ancient Sri Lanka.

For both antiquity and interest, it is the equal of any ancient 'buried city' in the world.

03 Day

Sigriya lion rock

After breakfast, you will visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site; the famous Sigriya lion rock. Pass through the water gardens, built by King Kassyapa and witness the majesty of the ancient fortress; unique in the way it has blended nature with human imagination. This is a place where you can study ancient city planning and the civilization of Sri Lanka. Conquer the climb to the top of the rock fortress to feast on the magnificent views that will stay with you a lifetime.

After checking out from Cinnamon Lodge, you will travel towards your next destination, Kandy, which was the last kingdom of Sri Lanka. On route, you have the option to enjoy a batik making experience. You will check in to Cinnamon Citadel and settle for the day. You have the option of taking part in an unique culinary experience which will give you interesting insights of Sri Lankan cuisine.

04 Day

Kandy and the Temple of the tooth

After checking out from Cinnamon Citadel you will visit the sacred temple of the tooth where the sacred tooth relic is kept. Your guide will educate you with the fascinating ancient stories of the temple of tooth and its importance to all Sri Lankans.

Next, you will head towards the southern coast of the country. You will check in to Cinnamon Wild Yala which is located in the border of the Yala National Park.

05 Day

Yala National Park

Early morning safari at Yala National Park.

Yala National Park is located in the south part of Sri Lanka. Early morning you will enter the Yala National Park where you will experience a wildlife safari. Yala National park is a place where Asian elephants, leopards, sloth bear, deer and ample bird life can be witnessed and a jeep safari will be arranged for you to sweep through the jungle searching for them. Away from the crowds and closer to nature, experience the closer connection to the simple ways of life. .

After the safari experience, you will check-out from Cinnamon Wild and Head towards your next destination in the south coast.

06 - 07 Day Beruwala

Days at leisure.

Optional experience to visit the heritage city of Galle. Be guided through the great tales of the past which made the fortified city of Galle a UNESCO world heritage site. After a guided tour of the city you have the option to dine in at any of its stylish chic boutique cafes as you walk its cobbled stoned streets and take in the great history of the city.
